Baby Week 2025: Celebrating 10 Years of Giving Every Child the Best Start

This year marks 10 years of Baby Week, the national initiative dedicated to bringing sectors and services together to champion the early years.

The 2025 theme, “Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby,” underscores a vital truth: children’s wellbeing is bound up with the health, support, and resilience of their caregivers.

This year’s programme will shine a light on:

  • Parental health & mental wellbeing, acknowledging that supported parents are better able to nurture thriving babies
  • Nourishment for growth, from prenatal nutrition to early feeding practices
  • Movement & activity together, promoting developmental play, bonding, and active early years
  • Play, early learning & connection, celebrating the power of responsive interaction
  • Thriving families, healthy communities, recognizing that stronger families build stronger societies
