Pharmacy Needs Assessment (PNA) 2025
Help shape community pharmacy services in Leeds by sharing your feedback on the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).
Brief description of project
The Leeds Health and Wellbeing Board is undertaking a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), which is a legal, comprehensive, assessment of the current and future needs of local people for community pharmacy services. The PNA is important because it will be used as the basis for informing decisions when applications for new pharmacies are received and for commissioning of new services within community pharmacies.
Who will we speak to?
We are asking for feedback from the public on the current draft refresh of the PNA 2025-2028. We really value your views and would greatly appreciate it if you could spend some time to complete this consultation. We are also sending it to health and wellbeing organisations in Leeds and West Yorkshire.
What and how will we ask?
The draft PNA is available as a download. The survey contains 16 questions, most of which are quick Yes / No responses. The PNA file is a large document, it divides Leeds into ten areas so you may not need to read all chapters.
How can you help?
Please read the PNA sections that are relevant to you, and complete the online survey using the Leeds City Council website.
Read the PNA consultation document and share your feedback
What will we do?
This consultation runs for 60 days and responses will be included in the final version of the PNA. If as a result the Health and Wellbeing Board needs to make amendments to the PNA these will be included.
