Visseh Pejhan-Sykes

Role: Leeds Place Finance Lead

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton in Sheffield, Visseh started her NHS career at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield (now part of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust) in a dual role as Financial Accountant and Directorate Accountant.

She has since held a number of senior finance roles at both Deputy Director and Board level across a range of NHS organisations, including: Mental Health, Ambulance Service, Primary Care Trust, NHS Executive Regional Office in Trent and NHS Leeds CCG.   Visseh has been Chief Finance Officer, initially for Leeds West CCG and then for the merged Leeds CCGs, between 2013 and 2022. She was also Deputy Chief Executive from 2021.  Her current role is Finance Director for the Leeds Committee of the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.

In addition to her professional qualifications, Visseh has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Computer Studies.
