Thea Stein

Role: Partner Member - Leeds Community Healthcare Trust

Thea Stein joined Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust as Chief Executive in October 2014.  Prior to this, Thea had been the Chief Executive at Carers Trust since September 2012.

Before joining Carers Trust, Thea was the Chief Executive of Yorkshire Forward, one of the Regional Development Agencies for England.

Thea has also been Chief Executive of North Leeds Primary Care Trust and has spent more than 20 years working for Health Authorities, Health Boards and Local Authorities in England and Scotland. She was one of the first Joint Directors for Adult Social Care and Health Care Commissioning in the UK. She started her career as a Clinical Psychologist.

From December 2019, Thea was appointed as a Trustee on the Nuffield Trust Board.
